Some parents aren't sure if they are
dressing their baby too wrapped babywarm or not.

Don't be hard on yourself. It's a learning experience like everything else.

We must first remember that our baby is not moving around as much as we are. We may dress down if we are taking our baby for a stroll because "we" will be warm but that doesn't mean our baby will. However, at the same time, just because it is cool out doesn't mean we must bundle our baby so much so that no air gets in at all either.

Don't always go by the hands or feet. They are more likely sticking out right into the air. Feel your baby's back , inside his clothes, and see how warm he feels.  That is usually a good indicator.

Remember a hat really works! But if you have a hat and socks AND have the baby wrapped in a blanket, that might be overdoing it. Again, feel inside his clothing to see if he might be sweating or if he is just right.

The best route is to always dress in layers so you can take away or add if need be.

Onesies are just the right item.
